1991 reforms, also called as LPG reforms are considered as the life savior reforms for India had some negative impacts too. To much focus was done on the industrial and service sector that agriculture sector faced decline in the level of productivity. No special reforms were made in this sector due to which no enhancement in the productivity could be seen.
