Which of the following birds is the smallest?
Answer & explanation
Correct answer: option 4
The correct answer is Option (4) → Hummingbird
The hummingbirds of the Americas include the smallest of all birds, the bee hummingbird of Cuba, only about 5–6 cm long; most hummingbirds are smaller than a sparrow. They beat their wings so fast that they can hover in front of flowers while sipping nectar. A sparrow is about 15 cm long, and barn owls and eagles are much larger.
