  • Each chocolate cake requires 5 kg flour and 3 kg sugar.
  • Each vanilla cake requires 2 kg flour and 4 kg sugar.
  • Profit on chocolate cake = Rs. 400
  • Profit on vanilla cake = Rs. 300

Formulate the LPP by defining decision variable constraints and objective function.

Options:

$40x + 300y$

$400x + 300y$

$4x + 3y$

$40x + 30y$

Correct Answer:

$400x + 300y$

Explanation:

The correct answer is Option (2) → $400x + 300y$

$x$ = No. of Chocolate cake

$y$ = No. of Vanilla cake

Objective function, $Z=400x+300y$
