Description: Birth of Poetry is an impasto technique painting of K.K. Hebber which is composed horizontally. In this painting, a thin, coloured trunk divides the canvas into two parts. On the left is a hunter who wants to kill birds. The total left side of the canvas is in blue colour with light and dark tones, but a part of the side is in a Green colour of the same shade, giving a cool effect to the painting. On the right of the tree trunk, the image of Valmiki is painted in a dark block like area. He is coming back after taking a bath from the river.

An orange coloured patch has covered some part of the canvas, which brings the tree out, and a bird is sitting on the branch of the tree, watching the nest, which is painted downwards or lower level. This symbolic painting is based on the story of Valmiki's, first composed Sanskrit shaloka on Brahman's boon, Taking ınspiration from this divine gift he composed the story of Lord Rama. Thus, poetry was born, so this is called the Birth of Poetry.
