We know that, Volume of a cube = (Side)3 Volume of a cuboid = Length × Breadth × Height Side of a cube = 4cm Dimensions of a cuboid = 2 × 3 × 4 cm Volume of the cube = 43 = 64 cm3 Volume of the cuboid = 2 × 3 × 4 = 24 cm3 Now, the positive difference between the volume of the cube and that of the cuboid = 64 - 24 = 40 cm3 |
