Options:

Rs.45,800

Rs.48,000

Rs.52,600

Rs.81,965

Correct Answer:

Rs.52,600

Explanation:

Let total amount = 100R

After spending 15% on kid's education and 20% on food (i.e 35% of total income)

⇒ Remaining amount = 100R × 65%, and

After spending 40% on sport & 30% on transport (i.e 70% of remaining amount)

⇒ Final remaining amount =  100R × 65% × 30%

Now, ATQ

⇒ 100R × 65% × 30% = 10257

⇒ 1R × 65 × 3 = 102570

⇒ 1R × 195 = 102570

⇒ 1R = 526

⇒ 100R = 52600 = Total Income
