Numbers of students appeared (A) and passed (P) in an annual examination from four schools P, Q, R and S in five years (2014 to 2018).

The ratio between the total no. of students passed from school S and appeared from R in 2017 and 2018 is:

41 : 52

Total students passed from S in 2017 and 2018 = 315 + 300 = 615

Total students appeared from R in 2017 and 2018 = 380 + 400 = 780

Required ratio = 615 : 780 = 41 : 52
