A, B and C together can complete a work in 10 days. A and B together can do the same work in 12 days. If A, B and C received ₹9,000 for doing the work together, then what was the share of C from the above amount?

A + B + C = 10 days, 

A + B = 12 days,

⇒ A + B + C = 6  (Efficiency)

⇒ 5 + C = 6,

⇒ C = 1,

Total wages for working together = Rs. 9000,

⇒ (5 + 1)x = 9000

⇒ 6x = 9000

⇒ x = Rs. 1500,

⇒ Therefore, C's share = 1 x 1500 = Rs. 1500.
