I. The ratio of total number of eraser sold by P in J and K to the total number of eraser sold by Q in M and N is 93 : 98.

II. The difference between the total number of eraser sold by P and Q is 0.

Options:

Only II

Both I and II

Only I

Neither I nor II

Correct Answer:

Only I

Explanation:

I. The ratio of total number of eraser sold by P in J and K to the total number of eraser sold by Q in M and N is 93 : 98.

Number of eraser sold by P in J and K  :  Number of eraser sold by Q in M and N

           ( 250 + 240 )      :      (  230 +  225 )

                490               :            455

                 98                :            93

Statement I is not correct.

II. The difference between the total number of eraser sold by P and Q is 0.

Total number of eraser sold by P = 250 + 240 + 220 + 215 + 205 = 1130

Total number of eraser sold by Q = 205 + 210 + 260 + 230 + 225 = 1130

Difference in total sale of  P & Q = 1130 - 1130 = 0

Statement II is correct.

Ans :- Only II
