(B) Air transport was launched between Mumbai and Thane — Incorrect. The first air service ran between Allahabad (now Prayagraj) and Naini. Bombay (Mumbai) to Thane was the first railway line, built in 1853. NTA changed the places of the book, and a true line became false. Read every word before you mark the answer.
(C) In 1947, air transport was provided by four major companies — Correct. In 1947, four major companies provided air transport: Indian National Airways, Tata Sons Limited, Air Services of India and Deccan Airways.
