Speed of Chain Snatcher = 5 m/sec & speed of policeman = 15 m/sec

Relative speed = 15 - 5 = 10  m/sec

Time taken by policeman to caught the Chain Snatcher = \(\frac{500}{10}\) = 50 sec

Distance traveled by Chain Snatcher = 50 × 5 = 250 m
