Example of Geo-Portal?
A. Bhuvan
B. Bhoonidhi
Choose the correct answer from the options given below:
Answer & explanation
Correct answer: option 3
The correct answer is Option (3) → A and B Only
Both are geo-portals of ISRO. Bhuvan is the Indian geo-platform that serves satellite imagery, maps and thematic layers to the public, and Bhoonidhi is the National Remote Sensing Centre’s portal for browsing and downloading earth-observation data.
A geo-portal is simply a web gateway through which spatial data and services are found and used, so both examples qualify.
