Ram covers a distance in 8 hours and Mohan covers the same distance in 4 hours. It speed of Mohan is 10 km/hr more than Ram, then which of the following statements is/are correct? I. Speed of Mohan is 20 km/hr. II. Sum of their speed is 30 km/hr. |
Neither I nor II Both I and II Only II Only I |
Both I and II |
As, distance is same . So , Speed is inversely proportional to time . Ratio of Ram : Mohan Time 8 : 4 2 : 1 Speed 1 : 2 According to question , 1R = 10 km/h 2R = 2 × 10 = 20 km/h So , Speed of Mohan is 20 km/h Now , Sum of speed of Ram and Mohan = 1R + 2R = 3R = 3× 10 = 30 km/h Hence, I & II both follows . |
