Which one is not a unit of vegetative propagation?

The correct answer is Option (4) → Seed

Option (1) Bulb — A vegetative unit. For example, onion.

Option (2) Runner — A vegetative unit. For example, grass.

Option (3) Tuber — A vegetative unit. For example, the potato tuber.

Option (4) Seed — Not a vegetative unit. NCERT names runner, rhizome, sucker, tuber, offset and bulb as vegetative propagules. A seed is formed after fertilisation, by sexual reproduction.

These structures are called vegetative propagules.”
