I. Two successive discounts of 10% each. = 10 + 10 - \(\frac{10 × 10}{100}\) = 19%

II. Successive discounts of 15% and 5%. = 15 + 5 - \(\frac{15 × 5}{100}\)  = 19.25%

III. 20% discount. = 20 + 20 - \(\frac{20 × 20}{100}\) = 36%

Only discount scheme III has the maximum discount percentage.
