Ramesh is four times older to Suresh.  After three years Ramesh's age will be twice the age of Suresh.  What is the current age of Ramesh?

       2        :          1      ←  (after 3 years)

ATQ,

⇒ \(\frac{4x + 3}{x + 3}\) = \(\frac{2}{1}\)

⇒ 4x + 3 = 2x + 6

⇒ 2x = 3 

⇒ x = \(\frac{3}{2}\)

⇒ Present age of Ramesh = 4x = 4 × \(\frac{3}{2}\) = 6 years
