Question:

The pie chart given below gives the measures of the central angles of the sectors that reflect the number of flats in 6 different towers in a housing society with respect to the total flats in these 6 towers taken together.

If the difference between the number of flats in T2 and in T6 is 66. then what is the total number of flats in the 6 towers taken together?

Options:

1140

960

1220

1080

Correct Answer:

1080

Explanation:

Difference in number of flats in T2 and T6 = 60º - 38º = 22º

22º = 66

1º = 3

Total number of flats = 360º = 360 × 3 = 1080
