When did Montreal protocol take place?

Montreal protocol ( 16^th September, 1987 ) :- A landmark international agreement to protect the stratospheric ozone by agreeing to limit the production and use of ozone depleting substances and helping the developing countries to implement use of alternatives to CFCs.
