Note that x = [6] = {...., –6, –8, 6, 20, 34...} satisfies the given equation since for x = 6, we have 8x – 6 = 48 – 6 = 42 and 14/42. Similarly for x = 20, 8x – 6 = 154 and 14/154 etc.

Similarly x = [13] = {....., –15, –1, 13, 27, 41, .....} is a Sol of the given equation since for x = 13

8x – 6 = 98 and 14/98.
