What is the difference between the averages of the number of Science and Commerce students in the given class over he given period of 4 years time ?

Average number of science students = \(\frac{20 + 30 + 40 + 10 }{4}\)

= \(\frac{100 }{4}\)

= 25

Average number of commerce students = \(\frac{40 + 30 + 20 + 30 }{4}\) 

= \(\frac{120 }{4}\)

= 30

Required difference = 30 - 25 = 5
