Question:

The average weight of A, B and C is 65 kg. If the average weight of A and B is 62 kg and that of B and C is 66 kg, then the weight (in kg) of B is :

Options:

64

63

62

61

Correct Answer:

61

Explanation:

Sum of weight of A , B & C = 3 × 65 = 195 kg

Sum of weight of A & B = 2× 62 = 124 kg

Sum of weight of B & C = 2 ×  66 = 132 kg

Weight of B = ( 124 + 132 ) - 195 = 61 kg
