By what percentage is the total production of type A motorcycles over six years, less than the total production of all types of motorcycles in 2013 and 2016?

Options:

32.2

32.8

31.6

30.5

Correct Answer:

30.5

Explanation:

Total production of A over all six years = 95 + 84 + 85 + 89 + 80 +98 = 531

Total production of all in 2013 and 2016 = ( 95 + 98 + 104 + 103 ) + ( 89 + 88 + 92 + 95 )

= 400 + 364

= 764

Required percentage = \(\frac{764 - 531 }{764}\) × 100

= 30.5%
