If two cubes made of iron, each of side 10 mm are dropped in a tumbler containing 200 c.c. of water, what will be the net volume (in ml) of the contents of the tumbler? |

We know that, Volume of the cube = (side)3 We have, Side of cube = 10 mm or 1 cm Volume of the cube = 1 cm3 The volume of the two cubes = 2 cm3 2 cm3 = 2 ml ( 1 cm3 = 1 ml) So, the total volume = 200 + 2 = 202 ml |
