Question:

A rectangular water tank is 1.5 m high, 3 m long and 3.5 m wide. How much water (in litres) can it hold?

Options:

13520

14510

15750

11780

Correct Answer:

15750

Explanation:

We know that,

Volume of Cuboid = l × b × h

Given,

Length= 3 m

Breadth = 3.5 m

Height = 1.5 m

According to the question,

Volume = 3 × 3.5 × 1.5 = 15.75 m3

1 m3 = 1000 liters

= 15.75 m3 = 1000 × 15.75 = 15750 liters.
