In the given figure, we are getting one rectangle and two squares.

= Breadth of Rectangle = 3 cm

= So, Area of Rectangle = 9×3=27 cm²

= Side of Square = 3 cm

= Area of two squares of same dimensions = 2×3×3=18 cm²

= Total area of shaded figure = 27 + 18 = 45 cm²
