Griffith Taylor gave the concept of middle path (Madhyam Marg) between environmental determinism and possibilism. He termed it as Neodeterminism or stop and go determinism. It meant that possibilities should be created within limits which do not damage the environment and humans should maintain a balance by conserving the nature along with fulfilling their needs.
