Speed of three train are in ratio 2 : 3 : 4 . Find the ratio of time taken by them .

6 : 4 : 3

 Speed = \(\frac{Distance}{Time }\)

Ratio of speed and time is inverse to each other . 

given ratio    T1       :        T2         :       T3

Speed           2        :         3          :        4

time         \(\frac{1}{2 }\)         :           \(\frac{1}{3 }\)         :         \(\frac{1}{4 }\)

                    6       :          4          :       3 

so ratio of time  = 6 : 4 : 3
