The areas of three adjacent faces of a cuboid are 18 cm2, 20 cm2 and 40 cm2. What is the volume(in cm3) of the cuboid? |
144 100 120 125 |
120 |
We know that, If the areas of the adjacent fades are given, then, Volume of cuboid = \(\sqrt {(lb × bh × hl) }\) Area of face of cuboid lb = 18 cm2 Area of face of cuboid bh = 20 cm2 Area of face of cuboid hl = 40 cm2 Volume of cuboid = \(\sqrt {(18 × 20 × 40) }\) = \(\sqrt {(14400) }\) = 120 cm3 |
