The length of rectangular sheet of paper is 24 cm more than the breadth and perimeter of the rectangular sheet is 128 cm. Find the length of the rectangular sheet.

We have,

Length of rectangular sheet = Breadth + 24 cm

Perimeter of rectangular sheet = 128 cm

Let the breadth of the rectangular sheet = a cm.

Then, the length of the rectangular sheet = a + 24 cm

Perimeter of the rectangular sheet = 2(length + breadth)

128 = 2(a + a + 24)

128 = 4a + 48

4a = 80

a = 20

The breadth of sheet = 20 cm.

Length of sheet = breadth + 24 = 20 + 24 = 44 cm.
