A and B are two partners start a business by investing of Rs. 25,000 and 35,000 respectively. But C joins the business on a condition that they will distribute the profit equally and for that C gives Rs. 2,20,000 to A and B. Find how much amount A will receive from C.

Capital:    25000    :   35000

Capital   :     5       :       7         :    ---     =  12R

Old Profit:     5       :       7        :    ---     =  12R

New Profit:   4       :       4         :     4      =   12R

Here,

A's profit decreased by = 1R  and

B's profit decreased by = 3R

Total Decreased = 1 + 3 = 4R

For that loss C gives Rs.2,20,000 to A and B.

Therefore,

4R = 220000

1R = 55000

A will receive = 1R = Rs.55,000
