The logic followed here is; (let's keep in mind the base, means how many triangles are there in the base) 1+2= 03  (ALM)  1+2+3= 06 (ABC) 1+2= 03  (DBC) 1+2= 03  (DNO) And, the other triangles are; LMN, PMQ, NRQ, ADB, ADC Therefore, the total number of triangles in the above figure are 03+06+03+03+05= 20 triangles.
