Mohit and Rohit undertook a work for Rs. 4400. Mohit alone can do that work in 10 days and Rohit alone can do the same work in 15 days. If they work together, then what will be the difference in the amount they receive?

Mohit = 10 days, Rohit = 15 days,

⇒ Total efficiency = 3x + 2x = 5x

⇒ 5x = Rs. 4400

⇒ x = \(\frac{4400}{5}\) = 880

⇒ Amount received by Mohit = 880 x 3 = Rs. 2640

⇒ Amount received by Rohit = 880 x 2 = Rs. 1760

Difference = 2640 -1760 = Rs. 880
