Determinant is unaltered if :

All the rows and columns are interchanged

I → elements of two rows are interchanged → determinant becomes negative

II → elements of two columns are interchanged → determinant becomes negative

III → every diagonal element is changed to zero → value of determinant charges

IV → all rows and columns interchanged → althrough sign of determinant change multiple times but overall it remains uncharged
