A bus covers a distance of 1.8 km in 3 minutes. How much faster(in m/s) is it than a young athlete who runs 200 m in 25 s?

Speed = \(\frac{Distance}{Time}\)

= Speed = \(\frac{1.8 \;km}{3 \;min}\)

= \(\frac{1800}{180}\) = 10 m/sec

Speed of Athlete = \(\frac{200}{25}\) =  8 m/sec

Difference = 10 - 8 = 2 km/h

So , Speed of Bus is 2 km/h is more than speed of Athlete .
