Russia has decided to opt out of the International Space Station (ISS) after 2024. The decision was announced by Russian space agency Roscosmos in July 2022. The decision was made due to financial constraints and the ongoing tensions between Russia and the West. Roscosmos said that it would focus on developing its own space station, the Orbital Piloted Assembly Complex (OPAC).
