Shital covers a certain distance in 9 hours at the speed of 40 km/h. If she wants to cover the same distance in 6 hours, then by how much will she have to increase her speed (in km/h)?

Distance = Speed × Time

Distance traveled by Shital = 40 × 9 = 360 km

To complete the journey in 6 hours ,

Speed = \(\frac{DIstance}{Time}\)

= \(\frac{360}{6}\)

= 60 km/h

So , Increment in speed = 60 - 40  = 20 km/h
