Two people A and B are at a distance of 220 km from each other at 10: 30 Am. After 30 minutes. A starts moving towards B at a speed of 40 km/hr while at 12 PM, B starts moving away from A at a speed of 30 km/hr. At what time will they meet on the next day?

6 : 00 AM

A starts running at 11:00 pm

Distance = Speed × Time

So , Distance traveled by A in 1 hour from 11:00 pm to 12:00 pm = 40 × 1

= 40 km

Remaining distance = 220 - 40 = 180 km

Relative speed = 40 - 30 = 10 km/h

( when moves in same direction )

Time taken = \(\frac{Distance }{Speed}\)

= \(\frac{180 }{10}\)

= 18 hours

So , They will meet = 12:00 pm + 18 hours = 6:00 AM
