Let the money invested by Nikhil and Neha be 5x and4x respectively.

Let the time they invested for be t and t – 1 respectively.

Ratio of profit = \(\frac{4xt}{5x(t-1)}\)

\(\frac{4xt}{5x(t-1)}\) = \(\frac{5}{6}\)

\(\frac{4t}{5(t-1)}\) = \(\frac{5}{6}\)

24t = 25t – 25

 t = 25

Time Neha  invested for = t – 1

= 25 – 1 = 14 years
