Explanation:

sin18º = \(\frac{ √5 - 1}{4}\)

{ we know, sinθ = \(\frac{1}{cosecθ}\) }

cosec 18º =  \(\frac{ 4}{√5 - 1}\)

= \(\frac{ 4}{√5 - 1}\)  × \(\frac{ √5 + 1}{√5 + 1}\)

= √5 + 1
