Question:

There are tree numbers P, Q and R. 30 percent of P is equal to the 15 percent of Q. 20 percent of Qis equal to the 10 percent of R. By what percent is R more than P?

Options:

150 %

300 %

200 %

250%

Correct Answer:

300 %

Explanation:

According to question ,

30% of P = 15% of Q

so ratio  of   P &  Q  = 1 : 2

& 20% of Q  =  10% of R

so,  ratio  of   Q &  R = 1 : 2

Now P : Q : R  = 1 : 2 : 4

Difference of P & R = 4R - 1R = 3R

Required percentage = \(\frac{3R}{1R}\)× 100% = 300%
