The human development index (HDI) ranks the countries based on their performance in the key areas of health, education and access to resources. These dimensions are given a weightage in the following ratio:

Equal Proportion 1/2 proportion to Access to resources and 1/2 proportion is equally divided among health and education. Both 1 and 2 depending upon the state of development of a particular country. None of the above.
