A- = 6 hours, B- = 16 hours, ⇒ Let the efficiency of C be x, then ⇒ (8 + 3 - X ) x \(\frac{80}{60}\) = 48 x \(\frac{5}{18}\) ⇒ (11 - X) x \(\frac{4}{3}\) = \(\frac{40}{3}\) ⇒ (11 - X) = 10, ⇒ X = 11 - 10, ⇒ X = 1, ⇒ Time taken by C to fill the tank alone = \(\frac{48}{1}\) = 48 hours. |
