A work could be completed in 100 days by some workers. Due to the absence of 16 workers, the work was completed in 108 days. Find the original number of works.

where, M = No. of Men, D = No. of Days,

⇒ Putting values in the formula,

⇒ M x 100 = (M - 16) x 108

⇒ 25M = 27M - 432

⇒ 432 = 2M

⇒ M = 216.
