It is given that 85% of students passed the exam . i.e. 15% of students failed the exam .

15% =  \(\frac{3}{20}\)

ATQ ,

 \(\frac{3}{20}\) of Total number of students = 75

Total number of students =  \(\frac{20}{3}\) × 75 = 500
