Question:

The base radius of a cylinder is $1\frac{2}{3}$ times its height. The cost of painting its curved surface area at  2 paise/cm2 is 92.40. Find the volume of the liquid.

Options:

80850 cm3

80580 cm3

80508 cm3

800508 cm3

Correct Answer:

80850 cm3

Explanation:

C.S.A = $2×\frac{22}{7}×h×\frac{5h}{3}=\frac{220h^2}{21}$

$∴\frac{9240}{2}=\frac{220h^2}{21}$

$∴V=πr^2h=80850 cm^3$
