Explanation:

cosθ + secθ = \(\frac{3}{√2}\) 

Put θ = 45° 

⇒ cos45° + sec45° = \(\frac{1}{√2}\) + √2 =  \(\frac{3}{√2}\) 

satisfied the equation , 

so  θ = 45°
