Sum of 5 consecutive number is = 50 × 5 = 250

According to the question

x + x + 1 + x + 2 + x + 3 + x + 4 = 250

= 5x + 10 = 250

= 5x = 250 – 10

= 5x = 240

= x = 48

Product of smallest and largest = x (x + 4) = 48 × 52 = 2496
