Out of 3 natural numbers if the average of 2 numbers is added to the third number then 24, 20, 18 are obtained.  Find out the natural numbers.

a + \(\frac{b + c}{2}\) = 24

b + \(\frac{c + a}{2}\) = 20

c + \(\frac{b + a}{2}\) = 18

By solving →

= 2a + b + c = 48

= 2b + c + a = 40

= 2c + b + c = 36

By adding →

4 (a + b + c) = 124

a + b + c = 31

Now →

a = 48 - 31 = 17

b = 40 - 31 = 9

c = 36 - 31 = 5
