Therefore,

Raj Present age = 9 × 4 = 36 years

Arun Present age = 10 × 4 = 40 years

After 3 years, Raj age is =36 +3 = 39

                   Arun age is =40 + 3 = 43

    Sum of their ages is = 39+43 = 82
