Practicing Success
Seven students Pawan, Aman, Raman, Sanam, Tanmay, Umang and Vikram took a series of tests. No two students got similar marks. Vikram scored just more than Pawan and Pawan scored just more than Aman. Raman and Tanmay scored the highest and the least marks but not necessarily in the same order. Umang’s score was less than only Raman's score. Sanam’s score was higher than only one person. Whose score was in between the scores of Pawan and Sanam? |
Vikram Umang Raman Aman |
Aman |
According to the question, 1. Highest marks is scored by Raman and least marks scored by Tanmay. So, Raman >_> _> _> _> _> Tanmay 2. Umang's score was less than only Raman's score. Raman > Umang >_ > _> _> _> Tanmay 3. Sanam scored was higher than only one person. Raman > Umang >_ > _> _> Sanam> Tanmay
4. Pawan scored just more than Aman. 5. Vikram scored just more than Pawan. So, Vikram > Pawan > Aman. So, the order from highest marks to lowest will be: Raman > Umang > Vikram > Pawan > Aman > Sanam > Tanmay Therefore, 'Aman' has scored between Pawan and Sanam.
